Your first 100 days: Skills to Start Strong as a Manager

This new manager training course equips fresh managers with the skills and confidence to lead effectively.

Six Half-Day Modules

Our first 100 days as a line manager sets the tone for the leader you’ll become — and the culture your team will experience. This programme equips new managers with the practical, people-focused skills they need to make a confident, credible start.

Across six highly interactive modules, managers learn how to lead former peers, motivate and engage their teams, handle healthy conflict, protect their time, set boundaries, give great feedback, delegate effectively, and address issues early — from behaviour and attendance to performance and wellbeing.

These are the everyday, real-world capabilities that make the biggest difference in a manager’s first months: The conversations that build trust, the decisions that shape team habits, and the leadership behaviours that create a healthy, high-performing environment.

Whether delivered face-to-face or digitally, each new manager training workshop in the module gives new managers clear tools, repeatable techniques and the confidence to lead well from day one — and to sustain that momentum long after their first 100 days.
