10 to 3 at CIPD 2018
The 10 to 3 team are excited to be joining over 5,000 people professionals to celebrate the 71st CIPD Annual Conference in Manchester.
As blended learning and people management experts we’re looking forward to showcasing our digital learning solution, 10 to 3.
Why digital learning?
Many employers navigating the complex industry of learning and development often ask us whether digital learning, workshop learning or e-learning is the best approach for their organisation. It’s a challenge because there is no one-size fits all; each organisation we work with has a different culture, requirement and learning objective.
E-learning courses are successful in enabling managers to remember and understand new information and skills. This is solid approach for employers looking for a level of engagement and compliance. Our argument would be, what good is new knowledge if your employees don’t know how to use it? Blended learning programmes have an essential ingredient – the ‘so what’ factor.
Successful learning will only take place if new knowledge is continuously applied and reinforced. Applying a mixture of digital learning and facilitated workshops generates an environment where the ‘always on’ interactive benefits of digital learning are complemented by a learning and development professional providing discussion, debate, mentoring and coaching. Here’s the theory behind our approach.
Designed to become part of an organisations working life, the ‘always on’ nature of 10 to 3 allows new knowledge to be continually reinforced and applied and is proven to be the most successful way of embedding new learning.
Not many people understand the name 10 to 3 so it’s best explained in its natural habitat – a micro video! In short, 10 to 3 provides in time, on point, animated micro-learning videos on all aspects of employee relations management. Each course is focussed on putting managers in the right frame of mind for their HR meeting. The courses are all around four-minutes long and are (dare we say) enjoyable!
Written by employment lawyers who understand the challenges managers can face during HR meetings, we cover topics such as; managing attendance, managing disciplinaries, managing grievances, investigations and managing performance.
